Asha Reddi Wins Republican Primary for Fort Bend County’s 240th District Court
FORT BEND COUNTY, TEXAS – March 5:
Attorney Asha Reddi has won the Republican primary election for Judge of the 240th District Court in Fort Bend County, securing the party’s nomination in the primary held on March 3, 2026.
According to unofficial results released by the Fort Bend County Elections Office, Asha Reddi received 24,277 votes (55.55%), defeating her opponent Frank Fraley, who received 19,426 votes (44.45%). A total of 43,703 votes were cast in the Republican primary race.
Reddi’s campaign also received a major boost with the endorsement of Greg Abbott, which helped strengthen her support among Republican voters in the county.
The campaign was managed by Sakki Joseph, General Secretary of the Texas Conservative Forum and a member of the Republican Party State Executive Committee, who led grassroots outreach and coordinated campaign activities during the election.
With this victory, Asha Reddi becomes the Republican nominee for the 240th District Court and will advance to the November 2026 general election.
The 240th District Court handles significant civil and family law cases in Fort Bend County, making the judicial race an important contest in the county’s election cycle.
