Edison Officials Sworn In Before Large Crowd at Inauguration Ceremony
EDISON, NJ : Nearly 1,000 residents gathered to attend Edison Township’s Inauguration Ceremony for Mayor and Council, marking the start of a new municipal administration.
During the ceremony, the Mayor was officially sworn into office, with the Oath of Office administered by Governor-elect Mikie Sherrill. Governor Phil Murphy and the Mayor’s wife were also in attendance, underscoring the significance of the event for the community.
The Mayor expressed appreciation for the strong public turnout and looked ahead to working collaboratively with Governor-elect Sherrill in the coming term.
The ceremony also included the swearing-in of newly elected Council members Kellie Dima, Robert Kentos, and Biral Patel, who will join the governing body in serving Edison residents.
The event reflected broad community engagement and enthusiasm as township leadership begins its new term.
