Kumbanad Gears Up for 102nd IPC General Convention

All arrangements have been completed for the 102nd Kumbanad General Convention of The India Pentecostal Church of God (IPC), scheduled to be held from January 11 to 18, 2026, at Hebronpuram, Kumbanadu, IPC Global President Rev. Dr. T. Valson Abraham announced.
The eight-day convention will begin with an inaugural public meeting at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, January 11. One of the oldest and largest Christian conventions in Asia, the annual gathering is being conducted under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Valson Abraham, with the participation of senior church leaders and ministers from India and abroad.
The convention leadership includes Rev. Dr. Philip P. Thomas (Vice President), Rev. Dr. Baby Varghese (General Secretary), Pr. Thomas George and Dr. Varkey Abraham (Joint Secretaries), and Dr. John Joseph (Treasurer).
Stating that all spiritual, logistical, and administrative preparations have been fully completed, Rev. Dr. Valson Abraham said the convention is ready to welcome believers from across India and overseas. Daily programs include Bible study sessions, morning and afternoon meetings, and evening worship services, along with special events such as Music Fest, Mission Challenge, Women’s Fellowship, Youth Advance, and Young Professionals’ gatherings. Communion and closing services will be held on the final Sunday.
Thousands of believers are expected to attend. Organizers confirmed that arrangements for accommodation, food distribution, medical services, security, traffic regulation, and volunteer coordination have been finalized in coordination with government authorities.
Rev. Dr. Valson Abraham and the convention leadership team have invited believers, families, and well-wishers to participate prayerfully in the historic gathering, officials said.
