The tragic incident occurred in Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh. The murder took place around 10 PM on Friday night. A 37-year-old employee of the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) committed the crime.

Disheartened by his children's academic performance, the father drowned both his sons in a bucket of water.

The incident came to light when his wife returned home and found him hanging and the children lifeless in the bucket.

A suicide note was recovered from the scene, and the police are currently examining its contents as part of their investigation.
