A tiger was spotted in the premises of Attappadi Agali Govt. LP School by the school staff. The tiger was seen around 8 AM today by the school’s kitchen workers. Following this, the staff informed the PTA officials about the sighting.
During an inspection, the remains of a goat were found in the park meant for pre-primary students.
There is a forest behind the school, and locals have reported the presence of a tiger in the area for the past few weeks. With more than 500 students studying at the school, the news of the tiger’s presence has left parents in fear. PTA officials have urged the forest department to capture the tiger immediately.
