Prasannan (47) was murdered by his younger brother in Uzhathil Chakrapani’s house, Chengannur. The police have taken the accused, Prasad, into custody.

The murder was committed by strangling the victim with a rope. According to the police, a property dispute was the motive behind the crime, as the brothers had frequent conflicts over family assets.
