Student secretly captured photos of female classmates and teachers; sold them on Telegram; arrested.

A student was arrested for secretly capturing photos of female classmates and teachers at a private educational institution in Kozhikode and selling them on Telegram. The arrested student has been identified as Adithya Dev (18), a native of Thikkodi.

The incident came to light when the affected students informed their teachers. Following this, the Kasaba police arrested Adithya Dev and later released him on station bail.

The institution's authorities stated that they immediately reported the matter to the Kasaba police and suspended the student until the investigation is completed. A complaint has also been filed with the cyber police. The police have registered a case and initiated an investigation.
