Tragic end for a foreign woman who went for a swim at Pulinkudi Beach

A foreign woman drowned while swimming in the sea in Thiruvananthapuram. The incident took place at Pulinkudi Beach near Kovalam. The deceased has been identified as Bridget Charlotte, a U.S. citizen. The tragedy occurred this afternoon.

Bridget was staying at a private resort in Azhimala. A local resident who attempted to rescue her was also caught in the waves but was saved by others who rushed to help.
