Broad daylight bank robbery in Chalakkudy at knifepoint.

A broad daylight bank robbery took place in Chalakkudy, where a thief threatened staff at knifepoint. The incident occurred at the Potta branch of Federal Bank.

Around noon today, the robber arrived on a bike, entered the counter without removing his helmet, threatened the staff with a knife, smashed the glass, and looted cash.

Authorities reported that the robber stole ₹15 lakh. The police have launched an intensive investigation, focusing on CCTV footage. The footage clearly shows the assailant arriving on a bike in front of the bank.

At the time of the incident, there were eight employees inside the bank. The robber was wearing a helmet, a jacket, and a mask when he entered the bank.
