Azhikode's son cut his mother's throat, the housewife's condition is critical

Son Slits Mother's Throat in Azheekode, Kodungallur

A son attacked his mother by slitting her throat in Azheekode, Kodungallur. The severely injured woman has been hospitalized in critical condition. The victim, Seenath (53), wife of Jaleel from Oomanthara Azhuvelikkakath near Marappalam, was attacked by her son, Muhammad (24).

Seenath, who sustained serious injuries, has been admitted to Kottayam Medical College Hospital.

Kodungallur police have taken Muhammad into custody. The incident occurred on Sunday night. Muhammad, who is reportedly addicted to drugs, attacked his mother. Three years ago, he had also assaulted his father, Jaleel.
