Medical student son hacks father to death
Father hacked to death by son in Vellarada, Thiruvananthapuram. The victim was 70-year-old Jose, a resident of Kiliyur. After committing the murder, his son Pradeep surrendered at the police station. He is 28 years old.
Reports indicate that Pradeep was a medical student pursuing MBBS in China. His education was interrupted due to the COVID-19 pandemic, forcing him to return home. He allegedly told the police that he killed his father because he was not allowed to live independently.
