A 2.5-year-old girl died after a carrot got stuck in her throat. The deceased is Lathisha, daughter of Vignesh and Prameela, residents of Washermenpet. The incident occurred at Prameela's house in Korukkupet, Chennai, while the child was eating a piece of carrot, which got lodged in her throat. Although she was rushed to the hospital, her life could not be saved.
