The charred body of a middle-aged woman was found in a neighbor's property. The incident took place in Manalur, Thrissur. The deceased has been identified as Latha (56) of Velayil House. The body was discovered in a charred state during a search conducted after she went missing. Latha had been living in Chennai with her husband, Murali.

Latha's husband, who was a businessman, went missing in Chennai six months ago, following which Latha returned to her hometown. Anthikad Police arrived at the scene and initiated further proceedings. The police have informed that an investigation into the incident has begun.
