School bus caught fire while in motion; a major disaster was averted.

A school bus caught fire while it was being driven. The incident involved the school bus of St. Little Teresa's High School, Vazhakulam. The incident occurred at Kalloorkad in Ernakulam today around 9:30 AM.

Noticing smoke rising from the front, the driver stopped the bus and promptly evacuated the children to a safe location. There were 25 children on board. No one was injured in the incident. Although the fire force arrived and extinguished the flames, the bus was completely destroyed in the fire .
