Ganesha (Chandana)
My lord
Who ensures
Auspiciousness of beginnings
Dispels
Obstacles on path
Brings in
Perfection of endings.
Tells me
Of the flaws of my logic
I would have thought
An elephant head goes with
An elephant body
A human body is most finished with
A human head
A broken tusk
Spoils the symmetry
A pot-belly
Is a no-go
A leader of troops won’t be
Riding a mouse
But my perception is bounded
My vision blind
My pursuit of perfection meaningless
For I don’t realise that
The incomplete
The imperfect
Is the most wholesome
That
Happiness
Is abundance
